It's still hot at day, but bearable thanks to the cool breeze. The Unhyeongung, which was the residence of Daeweongun, father of King Gojong, Chosun dynasty, locates near Insadong. Even the scale doesn't reach to the one of kings' palaces such as Kyeongbokgung, Changyeongung, Changdeokgung people can enjoy the beauty of the Korean traditional architectural buildings not being tired of walking the whole large palaces of kings. So I often go there for appreciating the wooden buildings proportion and special feelings different from contemporary ones of glass, iron, cement and etc.
On the way coming home I passed the street at Susongdong where I had sketched many times. The right building was almost completed. Frankly speaking I feel iron frames and beams under construction look better than the finished building, which shows energy and dynamic power.
