When I finished, the water began to rise on the landing step.
Water rose more.
Water covered the landing step entirely. Of course the ship floated higher.
One passing sailor told me the water rises to 9 meters from the landing step. over the step where I sat for sketching. Wow... I feared a little and felt marvelous of the nature.
Before leaving the wharf I sketched one more.
