at the "Happy Plus Cafe" in Hannam bridge over Han River

I ordered a cup of coffee and a piece of bread at the Happy Plus Cafe. Before I had I sketched.

pencil and watercolor, 39 x 27 cm

After finishing the above one I did the second seeing through the pane glass of the cafe. I heard from the staff that the cafe was being managed by Seoul city and the cookies, breads and some accesories to be sold were made by the disabled.  Because it locates at the bridge people can see both sides' sceneries - wonderful and beautiful.

noodle and shrimp dish at restaurant

13 x 18.5 cm
Last Sunday I went to Baekseok, Ilsan city near Seoul for some business. I dropped in Omori noodle restaurant for lunch. After having the dish I looked in the kitchen which located in the corner of the building. Passengers could see the show of making noodle through the pane glass in street. It's interesting to see how the cook makes noodle from a lump of dough. I sketched the process on my small sketchbook. I added the expanding scene from the archive which was sketched a year ago in different restaurant.
